Strikers go top of Bowling League

DUFF’S BOTTOM, Tortola, VI - Last Tuesday, March 25, 2014, Bowling got off to a late start at Save the Seed Energy Center as Captains of teams requested a meeting with the executive members of the B.V.I. Amateur Bowling Association.

The consternation amongst the Captains was caused because the games that were scheduled between teams should not have been played that evening. Captains of teams made it clear to the executive that if it was not corrected their teams would not be playing.

After more than half an hour of debate the executive agreed with the captains and bowling started shortly after.

The Strikers took the first place position from the STS Rippers with a one game lead. The Strikers defeated the Pin Killers winning two of the three games while the STS Rippers lost their lead because they were unable to win any of the three games between the Matrix Rollers.

The top scores for the men was dominated by Brian Liverpool of Matrix Rollers with the highest scratch and handicap games, and the highest scratch and handicap series. The top scores for females was Cresentia Jno. Baptiste with highest scratch game and the highest scratch and handicap series while Violet de Castro took the highest handicap game.
