ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The Ceres Juices 10k Series resumes this Saturday October 17, 2015 with the Steelman 10k warm-up at Beef Island.

The race will start/finish at Trellis Bay Beef Island at 6.30am with registration from 6.00am.

The course is the infamous Steel Man triathlon course, 3 loops of a 2 mile course and serves as a tune up to the Steelman triathlon on November 28, 2015.

With series winners Reuben J. A. Stoby and Rosmond Johnson expected to be in Guadeloupe for the NACAC Le Petit Bourg 10K this weekend, the top spots will be up for grabs.

Meanwhile, there will be a one mile course for children while persons also have the option of choosing to do either one or two loops of the Steelman course.

Runners can also choose to go to Virgin Gorda on Saturday for the second race of the Highland Spring College Classic. Race time is 7am.

The race finale of the Ceres Juices 10K, the “Half Marathon Warm-up’ will be held on November 21, 2015 at 4.30pm starting from the Watering Hole opposite Banco Popular.  The course is out to the horse race track in Sea Cows Bay and back after which Ceres awards will be doled out to the overall winners and runners/walking completing 3 races.

    Let's keep in mind that the weather is scorching these days. Make sure the runners have plenty of water, hats for shade and cool tops on so they don't pass out or dehydrate. Hope this is a fun day tomorrow.
