Over the past 6 days, Virgin Islands News Online (VINO) has been experiencing some connectivity challenges, especially as it relates to local customers of Flow-BVI. Some Flow-BVI fixed services and broadband local customers were unable to access the online news site for a few days.

What we discovered is the existing server provider based overseas has been at capacity. As a result, we have just moved to a new updated server.

Our IT Department has therefore reported that all local customers, effective August 3, 2023, in the Virgin Islands should now have full access to the online news site: www.virginislandsnewsonline.com

We apologise for the short down time, and will continue to ensure that our more than five thousand readers per day continue to have access 7 days a week to VINO- the online news site for accurate stories, the news site for all the inside scoops, and the only online news site in the Virgin Islands that publishes stories 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

As we celebrate 13 years of service, we offer a heartfelt thank you to all our advertisers, readers, staff, freelance writers, and everyone who continues to support us.

    I have been able to access vino from my desktop but not from my cell (flow). Saw this article and still not accessing vino from cell internet at 9:42 a.m 3rd August
