St Kitts & Nevis' Opposition here to rally support

- will hold town hall meeting tonight at 7:30 PM at the Save the Seed Energy Centre
During a press conference earlier today December 6, 2014, Head of the coalition movement Team Unity Dr Timothy S. Harris (left) and his colleague Hon Eugene A. Hamilton of the People’s Action Movement (PAM) spoke of the atrocities of the Douglas administration, ranging from disregard for that country’s Constitution to undermining democratic norms causing the twin island nation to lose credibility on the world stage. “Team Unity is the only movement that has shown consistently that it can get the six seats [out of 11 needed to take power]. So we are heartened by that and we continue to do the work. Every poll that has been done in the country over the past 23 months has shown that we are ahead,” Dr Harris said. Photo: VINO

DUFF’S BOTTOM, Tortola, VI – Team Unity, the Opposition Party Coalition out of St Kitts and Nevis is in the Virgin Islands soliciting support for their efforts at ousting the Dr Denzil L. Douglas administration which it calls undemocratic and unconstitutional and is inviting residents of St Kitts and Nevis to a town hall meeting tonight December 6, 2014.

The meeting is scheduled to take place at 7:30 PM on the Third Floor of the Save the Seed Energy Centre, Duff’s Bottom, Tortola.

During a press conference at the Save the Seed Energy Centre earlier today, Head of the Coalition movement Team Unity Dr Timothy S. Harris and his colleague Honourable Eugene A. Hamilton of the People’s Action Movement (PAM) spoke of the atrocities of the Dr Douglas administration, ranging from disregard of that country’s Constitution to undermining democratic norms causing the twin island nation to lose credibility on the world stage.

These topics and others will be discussed at length during the town hall meeting this evening and they are urging citizens of St Kitts and Nevis to come out in support of their efforts at restoring democracy.

“Team Unity is the only movement that has shown consistently that it can get six seats [out of 11 needed to take power]. So we are heartened by that and we continue to do the work,” Dr Harris said. “Every poll that has been done in the country over the past 23 months has shown that we are ahead,” he said.

I would assume that they are seeking the support of their citizens who live in the Virgin Islands and not support from anyone else.

@@ Skv ...The Best thing that can happen for SKN is Team Unity. I suppose you are in support of the continuation of the ongoing political debacle of an endless none-debating of the "Motion of No Confidence"; the unbearable debt owed to the IMF by your labour Party, don't see anything wrong with the prime land near the SKN airport sold to Stanford for a mere "twenty five cents an acre", when everyone else must pay much, much more, don't see a problem with Skn loosing their "Visa Exempt" status on travel to Canada and possible the Us, Uk and other major countries. Can it be that you have lived in the BVI long enough to acquire a UK passport and therefore don't have a problem traveling to wherever and whenever you wish?.
I'd like to suggest to you that, (if for no other reason), when the crime and murder rate of any country with a population of that of Skn, (a mere 68 square miles) reaches 20 murders a year, just short of 2 murders a month, its more than "Time for a Change".
Are the members of your Labour Party more qualified and greater lovers of Democracy than anyone else in the Skn Federation...especially after 20 years at the helm of government?
Change is in the air....and no one can stop it; a Change is coming to the federation..!
