  • SSB significant loss? (06/02/2023, 15:13) Like (15) Dislike (0) Reply
Costing $26million the average unit cost price is $550k with a 10% return. Does this mean that the SSB has budget a significant loss of pension funds? The sales price needs to be at least cost - sell to any first time buyer and recover money spent - or frankly offer the entire development for sale at $28.6million. This is not a 'low income' housing project, we need to go back to the drawing board on that.

I am surprised y'all get one sell. The buildings are built ghetto in a prettier form. Even ghetto houses have barriers.

The color of the homes look like the projects. Very ghetto, what was the SSB thinking? Sometimes all that’s needed is an appealing coat of paint.

Wake up people. The banks are taking people houses here leaving people homeless and they know that the economy is failing and the US dollar has crashed. Don't be stupid and say I am crazy just do your research and get some knowledge. You will own NOTHING and be happy and the elites and their puppets from WEF and WHO will be laughing at you useless eaters. They don't need banks anymore because money is an illusion for the dumb folks. The elites can say no cash used from tomorrow and so on and guess what you can no longer use can because they call all the shot to make this Devil Earth go round. These building are built with your hard working money and you still have to apply to buy this house again wow when are you idiots going to wake up. The government keeps taking your money and still keep making you pay for things you paid for already with taxes. Your tax money paid for numerous schools so where are they. The taxes paid for the roads already numerous times so why do we have big holes that mashes up people vehicles. If you all are smart you would ask why these buildings ain't for single parents or people who don't make much money. It's OUR money and I don't approve of these apartments being almost 300,000 dollars absolutely ridiculous. Why are these ready and it has Althea scatliff school full of mole along with other and don't talk about the school that was broken down completely and never built back or talked about. You people are totally a waste of time for me. You all just wake Up and think this world is normal but it's not

This area should have been allocated for the senior citizens, and the area in Spooner's should have been fit for the purpose of this project.

Take our money, build houses and then turn around and want to sell them to us at those ridiculous prices. If this is not advantageous, tell me what is.

The price is highway robbery for a home on joint property. Who wants to live connected to others while paying towards ownership. This scheme is ridiculous here in the Territory. Might as well be Rental Properties.

Wasn’t it just a month or so ago they was saying they had more applicants than units and would have to develop a lottery system to determine who would get a home? Now they are saying applications can still be submitted? Enquiring minds want to know just how many of these units will actually sell and what’s the plan for all the vacant ones?

These are expensive condos for people with a BVI salary. For that price, you can get a home in Georgia or in Florida.

Or even buy land and build your own.( don't need no extravagant building, just a modest dwelling to relax and be content with)
