SpaceX rocket launch in Florida seen in VI skies

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- SpaceX launched its Falcon 9 rocket carrying 23 Starlink satellites Sunday night, March 10, 2024.

Liftoff was from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Brevard County, Florida and happened at 7:05 PM.

Many in the [British] Virgin Islands reported seeing the skies lit up at the launching. Some, who were unaware reported seeing a UFO, while some even expressed that it “was scary” for them.

Some persons who managed to take photos of the lighted skies’, shared their snaps with our news centre.

About five hours after the launch from Cape Canaveral, SpaceX sent another 23 Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit, this time from California’s Vandenberg Space Force Base.

Starlink satellites help provide broadband internet capability to locations throughout the world.
