After being threatened with contempt of court and years in prison because of my last article, it must be difficult for those of you who have given me so much support to understand me asking you to restrain from belittling or crucifying the Magistrate… I think she did as she thought fit and I appreciate her lessons and take her instruction to research and educate you most seriously.

So far I have learnt that many Laws and Codes that gave the select few these special legal rights originated in the Dark Ages when our people were regarded as less than human; to be seen but not heard and, the application of such Laws at the whims of those who may choose to prosecute and persecute our people for pleasure and self importance effectively drives us back into slavery.

NB: Our recent Emancipation Celebration was to commemorate liberation from Prosecutors’ Laws of Slavery and Segregation that taught us the unfairness and injustice of these laws were necessary for social prosperity and tranquility… Today’s contempt of court - no matter the facts – appears to be one such law that offers no redress for pain and suffering of the innocent.

Today, as a modern people with promised rights of freedom and equality, we must decide whether or not to remain chained to the past… The rapid progress made in Communication and Science should not be handicapped by a lack of laws that reflect similar human and social progress - sticking hands through car windows to make traffic signals is not progress.

It is no secret that if contempt of court had international merit and was applied without malice and partiality, CNN, NBC, FOX, BBC, TV, radio and internet providers along with every Protestor,  Activist, Marcher or Talking Head would be defunct or imprisoned based on their actions and comments regarding such cases as Trayvon Martin, Casey Anthony, Jodi Arias and Ariel Castro’s.

These unique legal rights that are afforded to those in power actually make the rest of us wrong in believing that we are truly emancipated and have indeed progressed to the point of having realistic freedom of speech and expression… This worsens when we are saddled with public prosecutors but denied public defenders as justice becomes only for the rich and not the poor.

History shows that those who go along to get along are seldom targeted while those that insist on being not for sale are thrown in jail… Jailing me would be like one quick death sentence that brings ecstasy to a lot of evil and corrupt persons by creating the absence of anyone to speak truth to power – Maybe it would be celebrated as a ‘National Holiday for Parasites’.

Simple commonsense makes me neither saint nor warrior… Just a BVI father who fears our children are being conditioned to read but not to write, to think but not to talk and to kneel but not to walk… Instead our real mission should ensure their rights to Read,Write, Think, Talk, Kneel and Walk for failing this we sentence them to lives without value just as days of slavery.

With so much still to be done, there are too many who will desert causes even before the water gets warm and too few prepared to weather the storm… Just as Friday’s storm carried potential to drown some as well as potential to nourish others, it’s left to each of us to find our groove.

Meanwhile, I will try answering a few of your questions:…

Why should your Son not be remanded like everyone else?

First off, I hope everyone’s sons are not being remanded – nonetheless my wife and I never opposed the remanding of our son and records will show that we cooperated fully… What I did was to question whether certain procedures and processes were likely to do harm than good especially when persons less fortunate may be subjected to these same procedures and practices.

Is your Son still Remanded or in Custody?

Technically, No – He’s out – Released on Bail… Since then he has been hard at work on his farm trying to undo the damage and neglect caused by his absence… Although I have provided him with some assistance, he appears intent on getting it all done in the shortest time possible which sometimes means non-stop labour and skipping meals – This gives me some new concerns.

Were you treated fairly or victimized?...

Sorry, but I’m neither the real issue or agenda – The children are – and it should be clear by now, the battering I’ve received over the years is simply because I bring truth to the youth and refuse to be ‘For Sale’…Some blows have been hard and some harder but in the big picture I’m simply a lesson on the blackboard of life and the real question is whether or not you are learning.

There is no merit in turning this opportunity into a mutiny when there is a greater opportunity to turn their stumbling block into our children’s stepping stone… As a consequence, as much as I give my deepest thanks for all your support and encouragement, we must remain cool - even in the midst of ‘hot water’ – for sometimes it’s better to let others take win so children won’t lose.

How come Platinum was at the Event - Was it a set up?...

As far as I am aware, there was only one case scheduled and I was there as a supportive parent… Until I was in the Courtroom, I had absolutely no idea I would be accused of anything and while attending court several times before I never saw any such reporters… It was suspicious that they took pictures prior to and left right after my event… You may have to ask them yourself.

Why did Mr Potter intervene and mention VINO in what was not his Matter?...

As far as I am aware, he was there in the capacity of public prosecutor for another matter and I do not know whether he felt anything that prosecuted the public was his matter… I do not have the answer so it may be fairer to address this question to him directly.

Will you run for Office?...

Prior to Friday’s event, I had neither desire nor intent because I felt I had done more than anyone else for my people during my short time in office and I was quite comfortable working from outside… However, the event made me fully aware that our people are imprisoned because of ancient laws designed to retard and enslave us and these can only be changed from the inside.

I have learnt of crucial problems that require more than just ‘Truth for the Youth’ and my easy No! of a week ago is being tested by the realisation that the time to remake or remove these laws that destroy our children and their futures can no longer be postponed… While I am now nearer to Yes! Than No! - if only others would take on this mission then there will be no need for me.

PS:… I will continue addressing some of your Questions & Comments on Live BVP Radio Programmes

you see frett's opening speech? the man is under oppression.how can now criticize the magistrate who have pass sentence on his son? right now,he will almost praise her.the magistare and the crown council should take out theirself from this case.her mind is poison; if it was in the usa,she would excuse herself.

Mr. Frett you were tried and reprimanded and pursuant to the law you cannot be tried again for the same offence. Let them touch you, and then the legal battle will begin.

    The Trials of an aposle:
Dear Mr.Frett, your teachings are very inspirational and I appreciate your calmness, despite of all you went through; in recent times, with public humiliation,by some of us who fail to obey and respect the "fundamental Rights and Freedoms" of Her Majesty's Citizens and Residents in the BVI, guaranteed to us by Her Majesty-The Queen,of Buckingham Palace-UK,under the V.I Constitution.

Was it an intentional set-up to Publish your Humiliation for ALL to read? And why?Who is next;you or ME?

I have the same manner of thinking like you sir,and that is why I don't hide my identity to blog.Just because you post your picture and use your name, they use that as BAIT for written ABUSE in bloggs. This is a free country Sir,and with the power of the Holy Spirit,I wish you well, but I will advise the evil wishers with a scripture from the Holy Bible Catholic Version- 2 CORINTHIANS 6 vs 3-4 & 7:-

[" We are concerned not to give anyone an occasion to stumble or criticize our mission :

Instead we prove we are true ministers of god in the every way by our endurance in so many trials,in hardship and afflictions:

Floggings, imprisonment, riots, fatigue, sleepless nights and days of hunger:

So we fight with the weapons of justice to attack as well as to defend"].

To those who wish evil on others-

The evil that they wish on you, will return to their doorsteps with a BIGGER FORCE.

Put god first, and he will lead you..
