So that is why ayu are killing off people? You all are disgruntled so you take it out on the poor patients(especially the elderly ones)by pumping gallons of intravenous fluid into their bodies? I see.

Sadly some will always find negative to say no matter what you do. I remember for years not being able to get outstanding increments. We was behind by 6 or 7 years outstanding increments on the old salary scale. I remember years not saving a dime.

Now this government get in, bring us almost up to date on all the outstanding increments and arrears, along with give government workers a pay increase on a higher scale. And yet some over look all of that and studying about the ministers getting a raise too.

I wonder if persons would rather that nobody get anything.

I just hope persons don't be silly enough to put in a government that only enrich they friends, family and themselves while everybody else suffer.

I was wondering the same thing. I suppose the reciepients are supposed to consider THEIR EARNED INCREMENTS as a Christmas gift from a great government at work?

Some outstanding increments? Give the people their monies that is owed to them. You can find monies to back every pan drop and use the tax payers money to sit in first class airplane seats and LUXARY accommodations but you can’t find the monies to pay the people. You are the worst of the worst.

Should the government pay BVIHSA increment or salary bonuses? Well it is best they come back under the government as a department if that is the case. The BVIHSA should as a statutory board pay their own increments and salaries.

It is an absolute disgrace that for years the government has failed to pay civil servants their due pay rises, whilst giving themselves huge increases, and holding back the full minimum wage increase. Do they have a permanent cashflow problem or are they just bloodyminded?
    • @lodger (23/12/2025, 18:08) Like (1) Dislike (0) Reply
if there is a cash flow problem then their conscience should have told them not to give themselves those hefty raises. wicked

When salaries were last raised the pensioners were neglected. The government also should have upgraded the pension payments. They can increase their salaries. They can go on plane rides.
The people of the bvi must wake up and get rid of these guys. You have the powers just like the people of St. Vincent.
Mr. Premier you can find money for party but you can’t pay the civil servants their increments and upgrade the payments to the pensioners.

To all BVIHSA staff asking about yours, please note that money was given several times to pay increases. Our last two Ministers of Health gave them but management choose to pay urgent bills instead. I vex because they give themselves and lackey raise but left the majority of staff out. Every time the topic come up, they claim there is no money. Waiting here them explain this again. Imagine receiving the same salary for years and cost of living increase.

Thanks for that owed increment. I hope someone is keeping track to know how many more increments are still owed. Remember the arrears from those he promised to pay.
Also, when would we hear about the increment with regards to the new increment and the increment steps that were sent to cabinet with regards to those with more than 20 years of committed service. You all know you were wrong to start all employees at the same level. Now cabinet needs to sign off on the proposal and fix it.
You all don't be fooled, let them fix salaries and all outstanding increments before elections.
    Thank you very much

As annoying and inconveniencing as it is, it's become a normal part of the life of a civil servant with years and years behind on increments

Will this long overdue increment come with interest, penalties, or adjustment for inflation. We are in 2025 sir. Paying someone money owed since Moses part the red sea is not a flex, and I hope the voting populous can see that this is just a insulting political move to gain votes, long gone are the days of white envelops. They will just pay you with your own money that you worked for 4 years ago and expect allegiance for it. Please have several seats sir.
