The Bristol Flyers produced a dominant display in front of the BBC Sport cameras as they recorded an emphatic 98-66 win on the road against London Lions, with Smith notching 14 points.
It was Andreas Kapoulas’ 100th BBL game as Bristol’s head coach and his side produced the goods to make it seven wins from their last eight.
The third quarter proved pivotal as the Flyers turned red-hot from downtown to torch the Lions with 38 points in the period.
Aaron Cosby top scored with 27 points with Hameed Ali netting a further 23 as the duo shared 12 3-pointers between them in a clinical shooting display.
The Lions led by as many as seven points in the opening period as they made a strong start to the contest. However, Bristol Flyers went on a pivotal 19-2 run in the second period and held the Lions to just six points as they opened up a 14-point lead at the half-time break.
Ali netted three consecutive threes early in the third before Cosby followed suit as the Flyers took complete control to open up a commanding 40-point gap.
London continued to fight in the final quarter but the game was beyond them and will be hoping for an improved performance on Sunday when they visit Glasgow Rocks, while Bristol travel to Cheshire Phoenix in the BBL Trophy.
