ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- A small craft advisory is in effect for the Virgin Islands today, November 21, 2022, according to the Department of Disaster Management (DDM).

Small craft advisory means that wind speeds of 21 to 33 knots and or wind waves and or wind swells of 7 feet or greater are occurring or imminent.

"A combination of wind waves and wind swells is causing hazardous seas. The threat level to the life, livelihood, property and infrastructure of mariners is moderate with the potential for significant impacts; the threat level will likely rise to high Monday night with the potential for extensive impacts."

According to DDM, a warning may be required Monday night through Wednesday for some areas when winds are likely to be the highest.

It said locations to be affected are mainly open waters on the Atlantic sides of the islands out to 20 nautical miles.

This is expected to last until Friday, November 25, 2022, for the [British] Virgin Islands.

40% of showers today

Meanwhile, DDM said moisture and instability associated with a trough will trigger some showers across the region.

Weather today: Partly cloudy to cloudy at times with periods of passing showers.

Weather tonight: Partly cloudy with a 40 percent or moderate chance of showers.

Winds: East 10 to 41 km/h or 12 to 25 mph and possible gust to 56 km/h or 35 mph.

It's so obvious because they can give you all the direction as it land like really and don't say it's satellites because all they show is CGI satellites. Why you can't see these satellites is the day? That's how they trick you what will hold up a satellites up in the skies where don't understand see not one when you are on a plane. I am amazed with the lack of knowledge in people. Why don't you get to use your phone in the Sky using your own service no wifi. Satellites are supposed to give you the best signal because you are closer to it. I am telling you reading book make you dumb.
