ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- After rain and a heavy thunderstorm late yesterday, July 25, 2021, the Department of Disaster Management (DDM) has said there is a slight chance of showers today.
According to DDM, on its Facebook page, a dominant surface high-pressure system will be the main weather feature affecting conditions across the area for the next 24 hours.
"Meanwhile, a relatively dry lower atmosphere along with Saharan dust will continue to inhibit any significant shower development," DDM said.

Weather today: Partly sunny and hazy with a 20 percent or a slight chance of showers.
Weather tonight: Partly cloudy and hazy with a 20 percent or a slight chance of showers.
Winds: East at 17 to 30 km/h or 10 to 18 mph, with possible gust up to 48 km/h or 30 mph.
Seas: 1 to 1.5 meters or 3 to 5 feet.
