ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- A more settled atmosphere prevailing over the region will restrict shower activity across the islands today, August 23, 2022, the Department of Disaster Management (DDM) has said.

"Just for brief periods late this morning into the early afternoon hours daytime heating combined with sea breeze convergence could trigger some showers, DDM said.

Weather today: Partly sunny with a 40 percent or moderate chance of showers.
Weather tonight: Mostly fair with a 30 percent or low chance of showers.
Winds: East-southeast during the morning, then shifting to the east this afternoon and tonight at 11 to 22 km/h or 7 to 14 mph.
Seas: 0.6 to 1.2 meters or 2 to 4 feet..

Sunset today: 6:40 pm.
