Shanda Webster-Glasgow captures Caribbean POSH ICON Award
According to a press release, Webster-Glasgow was among 15 winners representing seven Caribbean territories, recognised for their outstanding leadership, innovation, and impact across business, tourism, education, entrepreneurship, health, media, arts, culture, and community development during the signature event of Caribbean POSH Weekend.
Contribution to culinary industry
Webster-Glasgow's recognition, the release stated, celebrates her exceptional contribution to the culinary industry and her role in showcasing the rich flavours, traditions, and cultural heritage of the British Virgin Islands while helping to elevate Caribbean cuisine on the regional stage.
Founder and CEO of Caribbean POSH, Janette R. Brin, said, “Food is one of the Caribbean's greatest storytellers. Webster-Glasgow is also well known in the Virgin Islands for her singing talent.
Held under the theme "The Future of the Caribbean: Connection, Collaboration & Growth," the 10th Annual Caribbean POSH Weekend welcomed women leaders, entrepreneurs, government officials, tourism executives, and creatives from across the Caribbean and diaspora for several days of leadership conversations, networking, cultural experiences, and celebration.
