Shadrach House retain title @ BVI SDA School’s Inter-House C/Ships

SEA COWS BAY, Tortola, VI- Shadrach House have emerged winners of the BVI SDA School’s 2024 Inter-House Track and Field Championships for the second consecutive year.

Participation proved to be the key for Shadrach House, as they did not have any Champion Boy (Victor) or Champion Girl (Victrix), but they were still able to comfortably retain their title on Thursday, February 22, 2024, on the Mondo track at A.O. Shirley Ground.

Shadrach House amassed 898 points.

Meshach House (833 points) started out the day by winning the cheerleading competition against Abednego House for the second year in a row but also had to settle for second place in the track and field championship for yet another year.

Abednego House had 774 points.

Champion Boys & Girls

The Senior Victor Ludorum was Andre Allen of Abednego House while the Senior Victrix Ludorum was Akeela Bryan of Meshach House.

Bryan, who won five races, showed her versatility by including the 100m and 800m titles in her collection.

The Junior Victor Ludorum was Xavion Fraites of Meshach House while the Junior Victrix Ludorum was E'Miya George of Abednego House.

Three new field events were added to the Inter-House Championships this year. They were Ball Throw, Shot Put, and Long Jump.
