CANE GARDEN BAY, Tortola, VI- The public is notified that sewerage works along the Cane Garden Bay Road corridor in the vicinity of Hodge’s Gas Station to the vicinity of De Wedding will commence on Tuesday, October 20, 2026.
According to a bulletin from the Government Information Service (GIS), work will start at the foot of Cane Garden Bay Hill, near Hodge’s Gas Station, and proceed toward De Wedding.
The project includes installation of gravity sewer mains and submains, new pump/lift stations, manholes, utility kiosks and associated road reinstatement and environmental protection measures.
Construction will be carried out in segments to maintain service continuity while the aged lift-station network is removed and safely disposed of.
Motorists are advised that traffic will be restricted to one lane in the affected areas. They are also urged to exercise caution and follow the instructions of traffic management personnel.
