ROAD REEF, Tortola, VI- Several boats have been destroyed by fire at Road Reef on Tortola, Wednesday, April 26, 2023.

It is unclear the cause of the fires: however, the boats were seen on fire at two separate locations at Road Reef early this morning.

The boat fires reportedly started around sunrise.

Chief Fire Officer Zebalon A. McLean, who was on the scene of the blaze, told our news centre that "multiple boats of varying sizes" were destroyed.

Mr McLean also reported that no one was injured.

He said the fires have since been extinguished.

The boat fires come mere hours after two boats were damaged by fire at Zion Hill last night.

What in the world is going on? Several boats on fire? Maybe the fuel overheated in the blazing sun and I hope no foul play was involved.

Humor is sweet. If the sun used to catch boat fuel afire. Oh my, Island life would not have been the same.

experts for marine accidents on their way to Tortola IF any of these burned fiberglass wrecks were even worthy for marine insurance. Most of the fiery boats in the main scorched area were abandoned or wrecks before today's fire. The lone fire on the seashore could be a boat, the dock there or both.

Stay away from drugs. Don’t owe people money and be out flossing. Good hard working people with vessels don’t worry keep doing your thing. Maybe the people who be up and doing every Sunday will help them buy one back after all the free rides

From one mess to the next in nature’s little secret. These fires of speed boats immediately after after an election fiasco, seems rather strange. The inner circles, and behind the scenes causes of arsonists, going around gaslighting expensive boats, has to run deep in this little society. These are BIG signs of BIG trouble in SMALL paradise of the underground world at work, and more big trouble is DEFINITELY coming. This is NOT normal. What next? Houses set ablaze?, or firebomb when people are asleep? Drive-by shootings?
What are the connections with the Election results, and the forming of a new Government? Probably none, probably some, who knows? Definitely revenge for something. Who owned these boats? This is ORGANIZED CRIME to a high level. These are serious questions. The powers that be, must take this this seriously. The BVI have had enough of bad news over the last few years.
This little place can’t keep out of the BAD NEWS arena? Troubles in paradise is real for real
