Set It Off, who defeated 2024 champions Ice Connection in the 2025 VG Summer Jam Championships, won 73-68 on Saturday.

Demoii A. Dagou was the top scorer for the Tortola boys, with 21 points. Dagou also grabbed 9 rebounds.

Jasin C. Rhymer supported with 16 points, while Jelani Lennard ended with 0 points and 9 rebounds.

Shamarr A. George, who scored 8 points, had a big game defensively for Set It Off, pulling a whopping 17 rebounds and making 6 blocks.

Ice Connection relied in vain on the abilities of Khalid S. Gerard, who ended with a game-high 23 points and 7 rebounds.

Ahijaa Sweeney was the only other player with a double-figure score.

Skillful Ballers destroy Just In Time

Earlier, a very lopsided affair saw Skillful Ballers annihilate Just In Time, 120-22, in the B League.

Zion Phillips led all scorers with 21 points, while five other players achieved double-figure scores: Jayde Glasgow (18), Ke’Mori Daway (16), Delanje Bedford (11), Jah-Shamanye Daniel (11), and Kishawn Martin (10).

The top scorer for Just In Time was Morry Ollivierre, who ended with 8 points.

Play in the 2026 VG Summer Jam League continues on Friday and Saturday at the same venue.

Meanwhile, the leader of the People's Leadership Movement (PLM), Mark H. Vanterpool, donated a cheque for $5000.00 to the VG Summer Jam Basketball League.
