Who you think makes the laws not the police. They have a duty to carry out the laws that are made and passed by the politicians. And yes we should not blame them is correct.

Pure foolishness. These young people need to follow the rules of the roads just as the cars, jeeps and trucks do. It is not the motorcycle that is the problem. The motorcycle cannot talk or understand and MUST be operated by a user. These young people are smart enough to operate a motorcycle and should be smart enough to follow the rules of the road instead of bobbing and weaving through traffic and running red lights

Not saying your not right but don't cars get into accidents as well. The one big difference is your not surrounded by a cabin. There are more car incidents in the bvi than two wheelers fact. its getting hurt more easier is the problem.

A scooter is not a motorcycle you moron. There is still a ban on Motorcycles. You can ban all you want, if people continue to ride and drive like lunatics, the accidents will continue.

What ban are you referring to? Get it right the law prohibits any scooter or motorcycle thats over the limit of 125cc. Not a ban on motorcycles on a whole.

There is a nasty hole on the dual carriageway, located on the eastbound lane heading past the entrance to the Sports Club, and just before the road entry to Delaware Gas Station. That hole will either shake some sense into you, damage your car or both! The harsh possibility, it could cause a serious accident. Mind you it is within that lane and going outside of it is dangerous too. And people when there are heavy pools in the roadway, go easy in or around it. Be kind to the oedestriams, fellow motorist and of course yourself...you could end up doing more than changing a damaged tire.

It's not safe anywhere! Even if you slow down to let these wild riders pass they still end up in people's vehicle. Imagine this driver stopped to let these boys pass as he knew they were coming. But no, he decided to take that turn with a speed and ended up in a vehicle that wasn't even moving. On top of that! His crew decided to rush the driver, threatening him. I'm waiting patiently to see what the police is going to do about this. This is so wrong in so many ways. People can't seem to drive in peace on the roadways anymore. I wonder who's going to pay for the damage on the driver's car? Or who will be held responsible for the nasty threats the driver received? Police your call!

So sorry for this young scooter rider and hope he recovers fully. Have you noticed not one person poured out sympathy for this scooter rider like they did the white man who got killed. Racism has reared its ugly head. Just like the white guy who people tried to say it was the car drivers fault, why isn’t this the car drivers fault? Ohhhh I see, his skin is Black, so that means he was driving recklessly. Yes, it is our children doing stunts in traffic and being irresponsible, but not all of them were. Where’s the sympathy? All I hear are crickets.

I would have but after the way they behaved with the driver.. he and his gang had no sympathy for themselves nor others!
    • It wasn't his fault! (07/03/2022, 17:14) Like (5) Dislike (0) Reply
The driver was literally not on the road! How can he be at fault! The young man rode his bike into a immobile car! Not everything is about racism! The biker was definitely wrong and he not only inconvenienced another human being, thank God the driver wasn't hurt.

You can’t prevent accidents people come on, bike accidents and car accidents happen all over, no one is special everyone makes mistakes, if we ban scooters, wouldn’t there still be car accidents? Won’t people still die from them. there are some drivers who also don’t respect the road and cause stupid accidents, so if y’all want no accidents ban bikes and cars.
    • However (07/03/2022, 13:15) Like (14) Dislike (4) Reply
Yes, accidents do happen, however, most of these bike accidents can be avoided. They are reckless and doesn't care about their safety or the safety of others. If only they would follow the rules of the roads and ride more cautiously there wouldn't be as much "accidents".

The generational curse affecting a specific demographic continues the blood letting . Blood thirsty and must be quenched one way or another. Murders, wounding, suicides, vehicular homicde..whatever it takes to avenge the curse will, continue no matter what. We installed it in our once beautiful VI rather than be better / different than all the rest.

Get rid of the bikes. too many accidents and many many crimes committed on them. They enable crime especially murder. Its much harder to hide a car on a island than a bike which can be stored in the home.
