BVI Yacht Sales has a very nice ferry for sale right now. Check their website. Please NOTE it is NOT a Sensation ferry for sale but if you want a beautiful ferry check BVI Yacht Sales at Nanny Cay or their website.

Help what? Either they figure out how to be profitable or not. No government intervention needed. All happen was them man was less asf. Slow boat, slow customer service, smelly boat. Inside just look nice but VG people trust the speedy or my boat to geh VG.

Speedy boat has always been smelling like diesel inside the cabins compared to sensation, has always been slower than sensation, and both companies have good customer service. Also, there has been plenty times speedy boats have broken down in the middle of the ocean because they ran out of diesel or had problems and if sensation felt that they couldn’t, they wouldn’t risk their passengers’ lives forcing to run. Sensation has never once made their customers feel stuck out in the water regardless of problems and has never ran out of ‘fuel’. What kind of thing is that

Did the company make any request for government help? If they did not, then what's the reason for you to bring it up to turn the conversation. They did not say why they are discontinuing and because the public don't know, everyone jump to conclusion not lnowing the facts.

Look at Liat the other day. We thought they were buried and going in cemetery. They are re-setring and coming back stronger.

Let us just thank Sensation for the time they provided the service and wish them God speed.

we have to because we dont get a whole lot of support or respect from Tortola (going on for years) , only during election time . We want a greater % of those tourist dollars too because of one the the most visited attractions in the entire BVI.

Lower you prices for a while and you’ll get more customers. Seek long term contracts with Sol or delta petroleum. Be on time, be professional raise your standards.

Most likely, the economics did not work for them. The cost of ferry ownership, fuel, plus captain and crew salaries exceeded the revenue collected.

Sppedys is a well run, professional company and that is one of the reason for their longevity . I wish they ran the Tortola to STT routes wih their clean and comfortable ferries. There is one company tha you feel as if you are in a cargo barge ..SMH shameless.

That is Speedy’s. Take a single trip and come smelling like you bathed in diesel fumes.

They benefit a lot from cruise passengers a lot use the ferry services to VG..Unless they are forecasting the Cruise ship reducing from May going reduce drastically. And not enough traffic From locals, or shareholders not happy.. so they are out...Sad though. Our Festivals need these vessels to connect easy back and fort..

It is good to have choices; One BVI; the thing is, we need people with open minds in the Ports Authority, the ferry services schedules need to be regulated better, all those scheduled times are too close to each other and at other times during the day, passengers are left with this big useless gaps between both ferry schedules. On Sundays, not one ferry runs from Road Town to VG, height of nonsense.

Sorry to hear that. Maybe they couldn't compete against other local businesses that get free supplies of drugs
from Carrot Bay sources to give away as incentives to sail on their boats...
