Search warrant leads to cannabis cultivation/drug arrest

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI-On Friday, Police arrested and charged Allister Kendol Browne of Little Dix Hill after a search warrant conducted at his residence resulted in the discovery of an estimated 1.44 kilograms or 3.17 pounds of cannabis.

According to a press release from the RVIPF, a search outside Browne’s home resulted in the recovery of over 300 cannabis plants from two several plantations.

Browne was charged with unlawful possession of cannabis and unlawful possession of cannabis with intent to supply.

He was granted Police bail in the amount $15,000 signed surety to appear before Magistrate’s Court on February 10.
