ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The Sea Cows Bay Basketball Club’s District Christmas League will be hosting the 13-15 Division Play Offs on Friday December 11, 2015 at the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex in Road Town.

In the latest round of matches, District 4 beat District 1 30-11, led by Kimoi Walters who scored 11 points with 6 rebounds. Diorys Joseph added 7 points with 2 steals and Nixon Hamilton finished with 6 points and 4 rebounds.

For District 1, D’Aundre Penn had 6 points.

Due to a lack of players, District 3 then had to concede defeat to District 7 despite leading 15 – 9 as the referees had to call off the game due to the player rotation rules.

Donald Layne recorded 4 points for District 7, whilst K'ntenay Maduro had 7 points, K'Andre Clarke 4 with 4 rebounds and Keshawn Esprit 4 for District 3.

The last game last weekend also came to a disappointing end as District 4 were awarded the match after District 5 were penalised for indiscipline.

District 4 were already well on their way to the win, leading 21-9, when the referees called the game off.

Joseph had reached 10 points, Walters 7 with 6 rebounds and Renrick Massac 4 points.

The Friday Night Play Offs begin at 6.30pm when District 1 take on District 7 for the right to face District 4 in the Championship decider.

Straight after the final will be the trophy presentation and closing ceremony.

Green Machine & Albion to clash in 9-12 Division final

Meanwhile, in the 9-12 Division Parson’s Green Machine will be taking on Albion for the Championship on Thursday December 10, 2015 on the outdoor court in Sea Cows Bay at 5pm.

The last regular season game saw them cruise past the Blue Brothers 37-23 with Keshawn Esprit notching 16 points and 8 rebounds. Jason Audain finished with 12 points and 3 rebounds, whilst Jamar Thomas had 7 points.

The top Scorer for the Blue Brothers was Raphael Singh who ended up with 15 points and 3 rebounds.
