Scooter rider reportedly critical after Luck Hill accident

LUCK HILL, Tortola, VI - A man in his late 30s is said to be in serious condition at the Dr D Orlando Smith Hospital, following a road accident last evening April 9, 2021.

According to reports reaching our news centre, the man was at the time riding a motorcycle in the Luck Hill area when an accident occurred.

It is unclear if the man was struck or whether he collided with another vehicle, however, he was discovered lying bleeding and in extreme pain with his motorcycle badly damaged.

The man was rushed to the hospital with several injuries, including severe head wounds as he was bleeding heavily from the nose and had several broken ribs.

    Scooter riders there was one young man with a riding vest and helmet a few months back, which was relieving to see...please safeguard yourselves...scooters/motorcycles don’t have seat belts or airbags

    scooters causing more deaths than Covid, get a scooter vaxxine, quick. Must wear a mask in BVI, but motor bike riders al day and all night no helmet. What the heck are we doing here?

    Those scooter riders don't care whether if Sunday falls on a Saturday thay don't care about their life all in road town I see one of them on one wheel with the other one in d air from d Republic Bank t o d round about and look where d police station is that don't care or d officer's case close

    Stop assuming, I pray this young man pull through in The name of Jesus so he can say what really happen to him that morning.
    The police should have done a stop and search on damage vehicles in that area.
    It sure looks like a hit and run to me.

    Up that road badly in need of some bush clearing, you can even see around the corner.

    Majority of these accidents are caused by careless drivers, who doesn't care about these scooter riders. There is enough space for both vehicles but they accept them
