THEY RUN RED LIGHTS, SWERVE IN AND OUT, OVERTAKE ON THE ROUNDABOUT, HAVE NO REGARD FOR OTHERS USING THE ROADS...NO HELMETS, SPEEDING, TOTAL DISREGARD...AND NOONE IS DOING ANYTHING TO MAKE THE "YOUNG ONES" BECOME ADULTS AND MORE RESPONSIBLE.

This is the second scooter accident in 24 hrs. Something got to be done about these nuisances. They are not licensed nor insured. The riders ride wrecklessly all day without helmets and we taxpayers have to pay for all this assishness. Why aren't the cops cracking down on these like how they crack down on seat belts? Now suppose one of these uninsured scooters crash into a 60 thousand dollar vehicle?

It would appear as though you also fall in the "below average IQ" category and therefore must qualify as being a scooter rider

The solution is not to ban the scooters but to set up license for them the same way you get your license to drive a car...these boys are buying scooters and because they can ride them they joy ride all over the BVI...give them a tighter rope!

Why the first thing people have to say is police not doing their job...these set imbeciles don't value their life so why should we care....my only concern is for those they run into....if they want to continue riding reckless without a helmet let them...it's their life and obviously they don't care if they lose it. My prayer is that innocent people won't get damage.

Because it is their job, regardless. They have a duty to protect the public from these morons. If they valued their life we probably won't have this problem.

Banning scooters is not the answer, why should responsible scooter drivers suffer because of other idiots. Pass a law that requires a driving test, both practical and written (i dont think that happens now), making wear a helmet mandatory and not these ridiculous helmets that they have at the moment. Appeal to police to take seriously complaints and reports from the general public. Educate your children that own scooters.

I guess they are going to ride the waves on those damn scooters next. I have even seen some of them standing on the bikes while the bike is moving. Mine dont have a motor bike but, I warn him if you get on someone's bike and something happen, when the police or the ambulance call me I am hanging up my phone. You don't listen, then your A$$ is on your own.

That's cool and I understand but, suppose one of them hit or cause an accident with one of your family members. Would you feel the same way? They can ride all they want and live life and have fun all day long but they should do it safely manner.

  • fine (13/03/2016, 22:15) Like (1) Dislike (0) Reply
They can ride their bikes but wear protective gear and have respect for the drivers on the road. Stop cutting in and out in front of people cars and blowing through red lights. I'm only saying this, if one of them run into my car when I have my kids or mother in the car and cause an accident, I am going to catch a charge. That is all I am saying.

Just wanted to say, Have you ever really look at the people riding the scooters? We have some adult riding these scooters and doing things on the road that they think is cool so what you think these young people will do? Many of the older folks who ride these scooters think they still boys. If only people will try to talk to these young children it will make a difference some of these young people are so respectful, it is just they want to be accepted how they think they will be accepted.Train up a child in the way they should go and they will not forget it. Stop making excuses.
