Sorry $k**t - BS! Quads are completely illegal, fitting neither the legal definition of a two or three wheeled motorcycle, nor that of an automobile.

I am calling on the government to ban motor cycles riders under the age of 30. These young guys are irresponsible, reckless and careless!! If something is not done, Hon. Premier, we will lose all these young, immature males.

@stupid mds: I guess you are one of the young immature riders. Be careful, you may be the next one that gets badly injured or lose your life. Stop acting immature and take instructions and guidance from those who care about you all. Do the maths, how many riders have we lost over the years?

I left Trellis bay just after 16.00 and there must have been 6 or 7 scooter riders racing next to eachother with their heads down being complete idiots. Why are there not speed bumps on that road that runs next to the airport?
    • @ Speed bumps? (27/08/2020, 00:26) Like (17) Dislike (4) Reply
After that young man lost his life 10 years ago, you would expect speed bumps to have already been placed on the stretch.

Racing has been going on up there since the early 90s or earlier.

Businesses can’t operate but these nuisances allowed to roam free.

If they’re not getting locked up, why would businesses be fined for opening to generate revenue?

I don't understand why every time there is scooter accident people always calling for them to ban this ban that. Why they don't ban the boats on the water, because some of them out there do reckless shit too and don't talk about the noise! Why they don't ban motor vehicles, accident happen with them every day, some due to recklessness! At the end of the day its about being responsible and mature. If someone cannot be these two things well there are consequences and as adults who don't hear will feel. Nobody cannot tell me a scooter rider don't say to himself " boy I need a helmet on" but because some of them lack a sense of maturity and don't care to be responsible for anything - not even their own lives what do you expect!

These riders are a nuisance in Greenland as well. Something needs to be done about the loud mufflers. I am sorry for the rider and wish him a speedy recovery but I rejoice at another bike being off the road.

It’s a simple choice. Do you want more deaths of young people ( because they are not going to stop ) or more profits for the importers of these death traps.

Listen, you can not blame the government or "island" people (whatever that term means as the BVI is an Island... but whatever...) for this scooter accident.

The scooter riders who are neglient with their own lives will pay the price. Just leave them kill themselves what does that got to do with you..... its their life and if they want it cut short then LET THEM GO..... not enough jobs going around anyway.

I would actually promote scooter riding without helmets GO FOR IT :)....
