I pray the injured rider will be okay. There are too many young ones getting injured or killed on these scooters. Young people, please start driving carefully and follow driving rules, for your own safety. Stop drag racing and weaving in and out of traffic. All of you have family crying over you.

Listen you can talk lard oil to these young people on these bikes and they will still do what they want. It is a cheaper mode of transportation, however, the statistics for scooter/motorcycle injuries in the BVI is alarming! Sometimes we are our own worst enemies.

I agree but y'all also have to take into consideration that not all scooter accidents are the riders' fault. Yes some of them riding hard but some of them are also careful and anything can literally happen.
As they said, the circumstances are unclear here so let's pray for a speedy recovery

They know the consequences for racing and showing off at the Beef Island area. The parents of those riders knows about this as well. If the parents don’t care why should we? It’s time for random bike seized like they did few months ago! no paperwork no bike, have paperwork but still acting stupid “take away the bike “

Any child that gets injured or held on a scooter that's not registered the parents should be held responsible and should be charged for accessorie to the charges and if the child or young adult dies the charge of manslaughter should be filed against the said parents or parent...I bet you would see a change around here.

What if the parent had no knowledge of the child being on the scooter? Should they be charged as well? I hope your child is very obedient.

Calling out parents or calling for road control or calling for paperwork will not preserve lives. We're begging these riders to please wear helmets and slowdown a bit. Remember your life is at stake maybe more than the rest of the public.

Another one. Damn legal scooters are causing more damage than the ocean and all the illegal drugs combined.
Nothing we have down here causes more damage than a scooter except guns.

Get rid of them. The only ones who should be allowed to have bikes are the police. Save lives less crime less crying less noise.

Its as if some politicians child has get in a scooter accident for them realize they need to step up.

Know the circumstances of the Accident before passing judgment. Not All Scooter Riders are intolerant of the Road Rules. Some heartless Vehicle Drivers are out there causing catastrophic injuries and they are getting away with it. Let's get the thorough investigation before blabbing. Send Prayers Up for the Scooter Rider and also for those not adhering to the Law.

The powers of this land I have a question. What will it take for you all to do something to try to save the lives of our people from injury and so much untimely deaths? Seems like the evidence of sorrow and pain have a blind eye. Our streets are crying out, family and friends are crying out, the territory is crying out to much blood on the streets. Some thing needs to be done we can't please everyone but we seems to have a dead angel assigned to these 2 footed mode of transportation.
