Scooter accident @ Pockwood Pond, rider hospitalized
His motorcycle subsequently burst into flames with the young male escaping without serious injuries.
He was then rushed to Peebles Hospital in Road Town and remain there up to publication time. Fire and Rescue Services were called and the flames were put under control.
Ban them?
Scooter accidents continue to be frequent, as some have called for them to be banned in the Territory, however, it is not a popular call.

We can talk abiut bigger bikes when the little “‘punks” who rida scooters / bikes now start to act RESPONSIBLE
Like Not over taking at a junction : You do not know if the vehicle in front of you is going to turn with out putting on their indicator ;; who gets hurt ??
Like over taking without beeping your bike horn
Squeezing through the middle of cars ; You dont know if some one is going to open the door to hop out : who gets hurt??
Mufflers are too LOUD riders cannot hear car horn blowing behind them
I ride too ; but it irks my heart to see some of the STUPID things some of these youngsters do
To prove what ??
Lets NOT ban scooters BUT educate ourselves onroad safety and LIFE preservation
