ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- A race that drew a large crowd on Jouvert morning, August 1, 2022, and got even the attention of the Virgin Islands’ international star athlete Kyron A. McMaster, Binky versus Scoop, is slated for a rematch this month.

Back by popular demand, the two heavyweights will clash in a 50-metre ‘dash’ at A. O. Shirley Recreation Grounds at 4:00 pm on Saturday, January 14, 2023.

In the first meeting, Kyle J. Ricketts aka 'Scoop' got the better of Omari Martin aka 'Binky', although some of Binky’s supporters complained about crowd interference.

This time; however, that is not expected to be an issue.

According to one of the race promoters, Colin C. Lloyd aka DJ Mac Milli, there would be a number of other races, including one involving politicians.

Additionally, the "family affair" event, according to Mr Lloyd, will also have bouncy castles for the children and food and drinks on sale.

Entry to the venue will be $10, while children under 12 will be admitted free of cost.

The event is organised by CTJ Productions.

      All joking aside. Do any of you care that these men? No matter how young they are, they can have a massive heart attack trying to run a race. Would any of you want to see this if they fall down and die, would you still feel the same way? These two men do not need to be racing, They need to get healthy, lose weight and work legitimate jobs to ensure a good life later. You all are no better, pushing for this race as though they are animals in a show performing for the spectators. To the young men who are supposed to be racing, for your own lives, cancel this. If anyone disagrees with me, then you are really horrible human beings. Everything does not have to be done just so you can have some laughs at the expense of someone's life. Thank you for listening.

    On the day of that race, they better have a ambulance, oxygen tank and a heart defibrillator on standby. This is so ridiculous. Stop hyping up these guys like they are local celebrities. Then got the nerve to charge a fee of $10.00 to see two overweight men make fools of and embarrass themselves. You all are some sick people in this place.

Did MCMILLI not see how dangerous putting two obese men to run in a race can turn out? Now tell me, why would any promoter promote two overweight people to run a race for entertainment purposes and a few dollars, bad business. Maybe that is Tortola style.
