VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI- After a busy weekend of parties and events for the Virgin Gorda Easter Festival, patrons took to the streets on Monday, April 1, 2024, for the annual Easter Monday Parade.
Overall, the events were described as not as big as previous years; however, residents and tourists still took to the streets in numbers.
Present also on the road was Ninth District Representative Hon Vincent O. Wheatley and Premier and Minister of Finance, Dr the Hon Natalio D. Wheatley (R9) and his wife Mrs Carolyn M. Shallow-Wheatley.
As the parade moved along the streets, the procession grew as revellers, families and tourists joined in.
