Is he returned to Jamaica because of family wishes or because BVI prohibits non belongers from RIP in these islands they call home? Even in death the apartheid continues.

International requirements must be met in order to ship a body overseas. The body is placed in a casket which is then placed in the kind of box you see in the photo. There is no disrespect intended - it is a health and safety requirement.

That box contains the real casket. It is only a casing for shipping. May his soul rest in peace.

ALL bodies are transported/shipped in wooden containers/ caskets. That's the rules, like it or not. Live and learn. Smikle will be outfitted in slick mahogany when he gets to his home in Jamaica where his family wants him buried!

Why persons taking the time to criticize and not informing them selves on procedures? You think his family care so much about the box? Or where he spends eternity? They would have known the process and expecting his body to arrive say to his resting place in his home land. Thanks family for allowing him to serve this country. RIP
