By the way, on another note, what is happening with the stop and searches. You can drive through Road Town, and other parts of Tortola from one end to the next and not see a police when the crazy thing is we have so many new recruits every year. What is up with this Mr.. Governor and Mr. Commissioner of Police
Clearly it was shots from two different guns, an automatic riffle and a shot gun.
No where is safe in Tortola!
The noise from Gun Shots and Bullets have become a normal entertainment in the Purcell and Free Bottom community.
This Gun Thing being going on for decades now. I am a resident of this community. I have made several complaints
to past Representatives, to Police Officers and Government Officials but it has continued.
The last set of Gun Shots and Bullets I heard was very close to where I live. It sound like one of those High Powered Middle East weapons like what Hamas have. I was expecting to find bullets in my yard.
This happen on August 21, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. - in Free Bottom area - in broad day light.
I hope the recent arrest that was carried out by the Police will help solve some of this problem.
