ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Around 4:30 PM today December 12, 2017 a small car appeared to have collided with a Sol-BVI fuel truck in the area of Admin Drive in Road Town, the capital city.

It is unclear if the truck was filled with fuel and how the accident occurred as rush hour was about to begin.

Police were quickly called to the accident scene and it appears no one was injured.

However, a truck filled with petroleum colliding had the potential of being a serious accident.

Both truck and car were also swiftly cleared from the roadway in time for rush hour traffic to flow.

Glad the driver was not hurt. I’ve always been afraid of the big trucks that can’t see me, so I stay clear of them or allow them to pass me. When one is next to me I try to stay ahead so they can see me in case they make an unexpected turn. Happy no injuries.

Truck drivers are unable to see such a small car that’s within close proximity.

@Help..if these truck drivers cannot see us small cars, then we are doomed. They most certainly see the cars, not only that they are driving frightenly fast which can kill someone because they cannot stop fast enough to avoid you. I will be taking videos of these flying trucks and send them to the owners. When they see their drivers are driving recklessly and will be costing them a lot of money, I bet then they’ll be made to slow down.
