Roy E. Barry Out! Hunt is on for 2 Deputies @ SS/NHI

It is believed that Mr Barry had over 36 years at the BVI Social Security Board and, after moving up the ranks, end his career as the Director of the NHI.
The Social Security Board, a statutory body under the Ministry of Health and Social Development, is now seeking to fill two senior posts which are; Deputy Director for NHI and Deputy Director of the Social Security Board. Both posts have been advertised.
Promotion, Retirement 2 posts vacant
The Deputy Director for Social Security Ms Lorie A. Freeman was promoted recently to become the Director of the Social Security Board, following the retirement of Jeanette A. Scatliffe-Boynes. This leaves two vacancies, including the one Mr Barry has retired from.
When contacted, Mr Barry said he had no comments.
Many believed he would have moved up the ranks to the Director’s post, given his seniority and years of service; however, that did not happen, according to a member of the Board who spoke to our newsroom on condition of anonymity.
Mr Barry, an indigenous Virgin Islander, is also involved in other nation-building activities and has served on many Government Statutory Boards.
Meanwhile, efforts to get a comment from the Acting Chairman of the Social Security Board, Mr Brodrick Penn, were unsuccessful.

I did say check the dictionary but like you can't read and understand. But let me school you, the word 'indigenous' means (of people) inhabiting or existing in a land from the earliest times or from before the arrival of colonists. Now unless you tell me that you are an Arawak or Carib you do not consider your self indigenous. Y'all like to talk about people hating on you but you can't accept a correction in the article. It is irresponsible journalism. Where was the hate in my initial post? Now go drink some piwari and chill. Oh you don't know what that is? Google will hep you!
PRAY FOR THAT HALF BREED TOLIAN , WHO ACYING LIKE HE OWNS THE LAND
