“I hope that you enjoy BVI hospitality with your fellow Rotarians. We look forward to an exciting week, and we are so honoured that you chose to visit us so early in your year [as Rotary District 7020 Governor].
‘Looking forward’ to hearing about ‘great work’ of clubs
Mr Cancino said he was very happy to be back in the VI, and was “looking forward to catching up with some good old friends as well about hearing about all the great things your clubs are doing.”
Other Rotarians expressing kind words of welcome to Mr Cancino and his wife were Past District 7020 Governor Vance M. Lewis; Past Assistant Governor Ryan R.E. Geluk; and Niche Marketing Manager at the BVI Tourist Board, Lynette L. Harigan, MBE.
Dinner receptions
During the visit, the District Governor and his family will be hosted by His Excellency Daniel Pruce, Governor of the Virgin Islands, at a special dinner.
The District 7020 Governor will also be the special guest at a joint dinner meeting hosted by the Rotary Clubs of the VI, providing an opportunity for Rotarians from across the Territory to engage directly with the District's leadership, share the progress of their clubs and discuss opportunities to deepen Rotary's service and impact.
