WICKHAM'S CAY, Tortola, VI- The Rotary Club of Central Tortola continues to make its impact felt in the Virgin Islands (VI) community, with the latest being the gifting of toys to over 200 children on Tortola.

Coming on the heels of its Christmas Tree light-up on November 25, 2022, and various Early Bird Drawings of $1000 for its Annual Car Raffle, the Rotary Club of Central Tortola brought Christmas cheer to some 220 children, ages 3-8, at Cyril B. Romney Tortola Pier Park on Saturday, December 17, 2022.

It was a very merry scene, as the children received their gifts on a first come basis.

Club pleased to fulfill wishes of children- Mohamed

President of the Rotary Club of Central Tortola Mr Shan Mohamed said the club was pleased to be able to fulfill the wishes of so many children.

"This year the Rotary Club of Central Tortola is delighted to continue to touch the lives of families across the territory," Mr Mohamed commented.

He added that toys mean a lot to children during this season and the Rotary Club of Central Tortola was delighted to come through for them.

"That is what we were able to do, fulfill the wishes of children for Christmas," Mr Mohamed said.

Pride is a foreign concept to most of the imported Black folks.
BVI is known for the character of its people which is their #1 resource.
Hence they are self sufficient and do the giving.

See the smiles on everyone's faces? This is what Christmas is all about, sharing and caring and helping those who might not have had a happy holiday. Good job to everyone involved in bringing happiness to many hearts, young and old. Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year.

Poor kids of the world. The adults are brainwashed to these pagon holidays. Having your kids worship the devil is bad and putting them on a stranger's lap is totally sick. Why get mad if they sit on any man's lap them smh. Keep buying an Illuminati pyramid tree every year going against the Almighty. That's why man most fall from the lack of knowledge

Wow you sound like fun! Did your momma not give you enough hugs?

The spirit of Christmas, Satunalia, Kwanza, Hannuka or whatever holiday you celebrate can take whatever meaning you choose. But here's the thing: kids love toys and most of us love kids and we want to make them happy.

Everyone has a right to choose their own path. Everyone has a right to practice his/her religion. The issue here is that we have this notion that our way is the right way and when people resist, we deem them evil. The problem is your mind. What would you think about if a kid with parents around and with a good cause sits on your lap? You may be the sick person here "As a man thinks, so is he"

The easiest way to attract kids to your cause, whatever it is, is to show them some interest. Wish our Government and others could see this. These toys are like fish bait, there is a "hook" hidden in each.
