Life-saving device
An Automated External Defibrillator is a critical, life-saving device that can significantly increase survival rates during sudden cardiac arrest by delivering a timely electric shock to restore a normal heart rhythm.
According to the Rotary Club of Central Tortola, which is led by President Zoe J. Walcott, having this device on the ESHS campus enhances emergency preparedness and provides added protection for students, staff, and visitors alike.
"This donation represents more than equipment—it is an investment in safety, health, and the well-being of the wider community. Rotary remains committed to taking action that saves lives and strengthens our communities," the club stated on its social media page.
