VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI- Ahead of the start of the tourist season in the Virgin Islands, Rosewood Little Dix Bay has again been recognised as a top resort in the Caribbean, adding to its already received stellar accolades earlier this year.

The resort on Virgin Gorda has been named #1 in the "Top 40 Resorts in the Caribbean Islands" category by Condé Nast Traveler’s 2021 Readers’ Choice Awards, also earning the #14 spot in the coveted “Best Resorts in the World” category.

Following its opening in January 2020, 2021 marks the second consecutive year the property has received recognition as part of the annual awards list. Now in its 34th year, these prestigious distinctions are distributed based on the feedback of Condé Nast Traveler discerning readers worldwide in recognition of the world’s best hotels, resorts, cities, islands, airlines, airports and cruise lines.

Recognition testament to hard work & dedication- Resort

“We are thrilled to be named not only the top resort in the Caribbean but also among the top resorts in the world. To receive such an honour in only our second year of eligibility is a testament to the hard work of our dedicated team and associates,” said Andreas Pade, Managing Director of Rosewood Little Dix Bay, in a press release.

“We are incredibly grateful for this recognition by the distinguished and well-travelled readers of Condé Nast Traveler and look forward to continuing to offer unmatched services and experiences for years to come,” Pade added.

More than 800,000 Condé Nast Traveler readers submitted responses rating their travel experiences across the globe to provide a full snapshot about the places they can’t wait to return to next. The Readers’ Choice Awards are the longest-running and most prestigious recognition of excellence in the travel industry.

In April 2021, Rosewood Little Dix Bay was only one of four Caribbean properties making the Travel+Leisure’s esteemed 2021 It List.

Gold Badge

Earlier in the year, the newly reopened legendary island escape on Virgin Gorda received a Gold Badge in the 2021 US News & World Report Best Hotels rankings and was named the number one hotel and resort in the VI.

The resort was also named the number nine resort in the Caribbean, the number 14 hotel in the Caribbean and the number one resort on Virgin Gorda.

This was the resort’s first highly-regarded distinction in US News & World Report awards programming following its reopening and extensive renovation in January 2020.

Only three hotels in BVI get 5 stars from travelers on Trip Advisor Guana Island, The Sugar Mill and Anagada Beach Club , this gets 4 and a half.

Great news but what are the names/locations of the other resorts on this list of world's top resorts. If No. 2 is the campground on St. Johns then I'm not impressed!

I have stayed at the above mentioned Resort and a few of the other high end Resorts in the BVI and they are all up to high standards. But at the end of the day RoseWood Little Dix Bay is my favorite.

This is how to build UP a country...with investing and investors. As opposed to building ghettos, with the illiterate the tired, the poor, the baby mommas and papa's multiplying like mosquitos, and the resulting mediocre educational system ,burgeoning prison ,court and an imported occupying police force.
Days ago Moskito Island all over the global media, today Rosewood .Others in place and established.
