VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI — Repair work is now underway on the roof of the Nurse Iris O’Neal Clinic, marking an important step toward strengthening and improving the main healthcare facility on Virgin Gorda.

In a Facebook post, the BVI Health Services Authority (BVIHSA) said the roof repair project is expected to take approximately two and a half months to complete, subject to favourable weather and the absence of unforeseen conditions. Officials have shared photographs showing progress at the clinic as the work continues.

Project addressing longstanding roof issues

The project forms part of ongoing efforts to maintain and modernise the Nurse Iris O’Neal Clinic, a key healthcare facility serving residents of Virgin Gorda. The repairs are intended to address longstanding roof issues and support the delivery of safer, more reliable health services to the community.

The post added, “We appreciate everyone’s patience and support as the work continues,” officials stated. “We look forward to sharing the completed project with you.”

    I would agree with Mark and make admin building a shopping mall,because millions spending on that building since 2018 and not a single office in there,all the government office are occupying private spaces which belongs to family and friends of those departments,so clearly our taxpayers money are going into the pocket of those crooks rather than developing the country.

    This is a new building. How can the roof already be leaking if it was built correctly
