Nothing to do with someone excavating then.

All of that is because of Derick Maduro. he is the one to blame. Tony have nothing to do with that.

Gots to be Tony himself post this comment.
Anyway, I don't know what's the big deal about this. Tony needs to jump on that wall asap. He got steel packed up in his businesses parking lot and concrete plant just down the road. Get to work

These situations are rarely caused by one factor. Terrain, drainage, rainfall, and infrastructure design all play a role in this. Once authority approved this land clearance, they are expected to monitor, enforce conditions, or intervene if something is unsafe. Hopefully engineers can assess the failure and the responsible agencies can act quickly to fix the road for residents. Let’s be real that road always looked weak for years so I don’t see why Tony is being blamed here.

Ignorant comment, you want to run things then run things. Beyond boss instead of worrying about somebody else who is a boss.

He does run things where Town and Country Planning is concerned. They allow him to do as he pleases.

That’s a steep hill and the people now have to walk it with groceries or take a scooter taxi.

Hon Walwyn said government should not be involved with people land so let them do what they want. This was just a few days ago. Govt should let them do what they want but when it costs money to repair damage then its govt problem. Ok makes sense.

Tony came too close to the road. He was told he was undermining the road and he did not stop. The road needs urgent attention. Government needs to get the alternative road in place for the residents of Fish Bay.

Given the way that adjoining land was cut, anyone with even the faintest sense of terrain could have predicted that section of road would eventually give way. Ray Charles would have told Stevie Wonder that land cutting like that would create problems.

Drove by it last week and laughed. Figured it would be a heavy vechile that collapsed that unsupported excavation. Then the rain came..

It's NOT mis-characterizing. You see, our elected officials and leaders need to be careful of the messages being sent by their grandstanding. The rep fully well understands why the legislation is worded how it is but he wants to scare people into thinking the government is doing them something. What has happened here is a prime example of why government should have some level of say in private property especially when it impacts government infrastructure. The same people chanting leave the people dem ting alone, tis theirs, let them do what they want, will now expect our tax dollars to be used to fix this mess that was totally avoidable. This is what is wrong with the Territory and why it will not get any better. We need leaders not pretending, power hungry people and this goes for all 13 not just 1.

How do you expect Tony to fix anything or continue to fix anything when they stop him over a dispute. Some of you people on here talking about when you let people come here from another country that’s pure nastiness. what is stopping you from being in your own boss, what is stopping you from being a successful business person stop the nastiness stop the jealousy not facts before you. I’ll pull some BS nonsense and go find out the real reason. Why the road can’t be fixed yet
