SEA COWS BAY, Tortola, VI- The long-awaited road works in Sea Cows Bay will begin on Monday, March 23, 2026, along with upgrades to the water infrastructure system.

The road works include the reconstruction of sidewalks and the construction of new slipper drains and curb walls. The scope also includes the complete demolition of the existing concrete and asphalt road surface, excavation works and the supply and compaction of new subbase and base material.

Motorists are encouraged to traverse the area with caution and follow the directives of traffic personnel on site.

Water disruption

Residents of Sea Cows Bay are also notified that, due to upgrades to the water infrastructure system, there will be a water disruption.

Water supply will be disrupted during the day between the hours of 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM for the duration of the road reconstruction project.

The Water and Sewage Department has apologised for any inconvenience caused while the works are completed.
