ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Road rehabilitation works in the Nottingham Estate area are scheduled to begin today, December 1, 2025.

This was officially announced by the Ministry of Communications and Works in an advisory released on Sunday, November 30, 2025.

Exercise caution

In light of this, motorists are strongly encouraged to exercise caution while navigating through this area.

The Ministry has stated that the Planned improvements include the installation of concrete reinforcement structures, which consist of curb walls designed, as well as slipper drains.

 Heavy equipment operations

Additionally, the project will involve the use of heavy machinery and equipment, necessitating increased vigilance from both motorists and pedestrians. 

The Ministry urges all individuals to remain alert and adhere to any posted signs or instructions to ensure their safety as this important project progresses.
