Rikkoi A.R. Brathwaite 4th in 100m Heats @World Championship 2025

TOKYO, Japan- The Virgin Islands' fastest man, Rikkoi A.R. Brathwaite, narrowly missed out on qualifying for the semi-finals of the Men's 100m at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, Japan, on Saturday, September 13, 2025.

Brathwaite had an amazing start in heat 5 of the 100M and finished with a 4th place finish and a 10.23s time stamp.

The race was won by Letsile Tebogo of Botswana in 10.07 seconds. Second was Andre DeGrasse of Canada in 10.16, while third was Courtney Lindsey of the United States in 10.19.

Meanwhile, Chantel E. Malone competes in the Women's Long Jump Final today, September 14, 2025.

      Never heard of a humble fan before. Fans are cheerleaders and encourage in the best way they can. The competition was tough and he was racing with world champions. Coming from small BVI, he did extremely well. Let's appreciate that.
