Registered voters encouraged to apply to be Elections Officers

To apply for the positions of election officers, interested persons are being encouraged to full an electronic form available at bit.ly/bvielectionsofficer or visit the Office of the Supervisor of Elections located in the Creque Building at 216 Upper Main Street. Photo: VINO

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Registered and politically impartial voters in the Virgin Islands (VI) are being encouraged to apply for the post of election officers for the upcoming 2023 elections.

This comes as the Office of the Supervisor of Elections is seeking prospects to submit applications for consideration.

Other requirements include being able to work long hours, having a courteous disposition and they must be available for training.

To apply, interested persons are being encouraged to full an electronic form available at bit.ly/bvielectionsofficer or visit the Office of the Supervisor of Elections located in the Creque Building at 216 Upper Main Street.

Persons interested in the job can also submit an application in person or via email at electionsvi@gov.vg where the deadline to submit an application is September 15, 2022.

Elections in the Virgin Islands (VI) is constitutionally due in early 2023; however, no date has been announced for when Virgin Islanders will go to the polls.
