Regional police commissioners commit to combat gun & gang violence



The commitment was made at the 39th Annual General Meeting and Conference of the Association of Caribbean Commissioners of Police (ACCP) held May 12 -16, 2025, at Arthur Chung Conference Centre in Georgetown, Guyana under the theme “United in Action, Transformed in Purpose: Building an Integrated Caribbean Security Architecture”.
Acting Commissioner of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) Jacqueline E. Vanterpool attended on behalf of the Virgin Islands.
The Strategy
According to an ACCP press release, its members have committed to:
1. Identify the movement of dangerous individuals across borders through enhanced intelligence sharing.
2. Identify linked firearms across borders through enhanced intelligence sharing.
3. Uphold our responsibility to protect human rights while pursuing those who bring violence to our neighbourhoods.
“This focused strategy will help us protect our citizens from those causing the most harm while upholding our responsibility to respect human rights and deliver professional policing services,” the ACCP stated.
The featured address at the conference was delivered by His Excellency Dr Mohamed Irfaan Ali, President of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana, who emphasised the importance of regional prosperity and collaboration in combating crime and criminality.

Fantastic. It will be great to get the dark tintnoff these gangster car windows and see who hiding guns, drugs, corruptnpoliticians and who knows what inside.
Just stop and search all of the and remove tint.
