Intern visit to Derelict Vessels Removal and Disposal Project site

On December 23, 2025, the interns visited the Derelict Vessels Removal and Disposal Project site, where they gained firsthand experience in project management, focusing particularly on project implementation.

According to a Facebook post by the RDA, this visit offered a valuable opportunity for the apprentices to observe operations at the landing site and to better understand how projects are executed on the ground.

25 interns over the years

The RDA has supported more than 25 interns to date, demonstrating its strong belief in investing in young people and empowering the next generation of professionals who will help shape the future of the Virgin Islands.

The apprentices working with the RDA include Nathan Daniel Charles from the Bregado Flax Educational Centre – Secondary Division, along with Rhea Hill and Glenda Hogan from Elmore Stoutt High School.
