PARAQUITA BAY, Tortola, VI – Amidst grand style, pomp and high fashion last evening October 16, 2021, at the Eileen L. Parsons Auditorium of the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College (HLSCC), the Virgin Islands Prince & Princess Pageant 2021 crowned its newest winners.

Rayshaun Lavacia has taken the crown for Prince & Keila Daniel for Princess in this year’s heated competition.

The winners will serve as Jr. Ambassadors of the Virgin Islands where contestants had to possess talent and etiquette, then groomed to radiate self-worth & confidence to be able to represent self and country.

Prince Competition 

Price winner Rayshaun who was contestant number one also walked away with the Nova Vita Congeniality Award, the Popularity Award, the Best BVI Love Wear award, Best Talent and Best Evening Wear accolades.

His first runner-up was Amari Goodwill, contestant number four received the Best Intro Speech award.

Other contestants in the Prince competition included Jaheim Stephens and Trevonnie Samuel-Matthias, the winner of the Miya Marcano Photogenic Award and Best in Intro Dance.

Princess Competition

Meanwhile, crowned Princess Ms. Daniel, contestant number four also walked away with the Nova Vita Congeniality Award, the Best BVI Love Wear, and the Best Evening Wear accolade.

Her first Runner Up was Xambiah Demming, Contestant number 2 who received Best Intro Dance, Best Intro Speech, and Best Talent awards.

The second runner-up in the Princess competition was Vira-Joy VanTreist who received the Miya Marcano Photogenic award.

Other princess contestants include included DeRean Smith and Nivea Mingo.
