Raul R. Sprauve aka 'Jougo' wins 2026 Road March crown with 'Street Parade'

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Local musician and entrepreneur Raul R. Sprauve, aka ‘Jougo’, has won the 2026 Road March crown, following up on his title won in 2025.

Sprauve, the lead singer for VIBE, won the title at the 2026 Virgin Islands Emancipation Festival's August Monday Parade with his latest popular hit, 'Street Parade'.

It is now the 16th Road March title for the lead singer of the internationally recognised band Virgin Islands-based Entertainment (VIBE). 

It was on Sunday, August 24, 2025, in Bridgetown, Barbados, that the VI's cultural ambassador, Sprauve, was awarded the prestigious CARIFESTA XV Icon Award.

Meanwhile, OVA Drive took the second spot in the race for the Road March title, with 'Shake It'.

Sprauve was third with 'Go Crazy Twist', showing once again his versatility and immense talent.

The Road March results were announced by the Virgin Islands Festival & Fairs Committee on August 8, 2026.

      Heard the same thing myself. And if that was the case, that is conflict of interest. Only here in Tortola people can and does stupidness and gets away with it. Again, if that is the case, that is conflict of interest and should be looked into.

      You know how Tortola stay, someone always knows something. If it is proven to be true, then that would not be fair, it is called cheating and favoritism. If my daughter was running for Ms. BVI, would it be ok for me her mother to be a judge? No right? Just asking.

    Win or lose the BVI golden child will never be left out...I thought Jugo Vybe had a band, I was surprised to see the members from Kyah nation Reggae band on Stage backing him...Some the same members in OMG..Only in the BVI...I never see ecstacy members, imagination, Jam band member or Prime time members back in the day on stage with another band...How things have changed..Those were real bands, with real members...Now give a band a name, get a Job and hire players for that Job...Time to respect the real bands with real & permanent members...
