Ramon G is First Runner-Up @ St Croix Soca Competition

FREDERIKSTED, St Croix, USVI- Virgin Islands soca artist Ramon George aka 'Ramon G' has placed second in the Power Segment of the St Croix Soca Competition.

The St Croix Soca Competition took place on December 30, 2025, as part of the Crucian Christmas Festival celebrations. 

’The Show’

Ramon G garnered a total of 1,064 points in the Power Segment with his hit song “The Show.” He finished second overall behind Blackest, whose song “We Coming Down” won the segment title with 1,328 points. Toasty claimed the second runner-up position with 1,043 points for “Hold De Road.”  

In the Groovy segment, BugZBugs emerged victorious with “Welcome Wuk Up,” while KuNsErVaTiVe took first runner-up, and Deh Farmer finished as the second runner-up. The Jumpy segment was won by Chandy with “Your Hands.”

3-time VI Soca Monarch

Ramon George is a prominent Soca artist from the Virgin Islands (VI). He is widely recognised for his high-energy performances and for being a three-time VI Power Soca Monarch. 

He first won the VI Soca Monarch title in 2019 with his song "Rampage" and successfully defended his crown in 2022 with the hit "Mass Intentions".
