GREAT HARBOUR, Jost van Dyke, VI- Local businessman Rajah A. Smith, moved by the perseverance of the 2022 graduating students of Jost van Dyke Primary School, presented them with laptops on Friday, July 1, 2022.

All of the recipients, Reginal Graham, Simora Donovan, David Chinnery and Keldon George, were Honour Roll students.

“It brings me great joy as I donated these laptops on behalf my company No Limit Construction to these well deserving students of JVD Primary school,” Mr Smith stated.

Teachers & students should be commended- Mr Smith

The presentation was actually made on behalf of Mr Smith’s company, No Limit Construction.

“Principal Blyden, Teacher Jessica, Linda, all the other teachers and parents should be commended,” Mr Smith told Virgin Islands News Online, adding that “these kids prove you can learn anywhere, whether it’s damaged building, on top a bar or under a tree. The fact they were all honor roll [students] speaks to their dedication and not allowing their situation to deter their outcome,” Mr Smith said.

Congratulations to the students that worked tirelessly to reach this far. Thank you Mr. Smith. That’s what it’s about. I’m happy to see you doing your part when you can. I know this ain’t the first time; maybe public but i know of the laptops you donate to Anegada school whenever etc. Thank you for doing your little and i’ll continue to do my little for it all adds up.

Congratulations to both the teachers and parents of all graduate students as well as it’s also your celebration.

If you don't want them to publish your name, why did you type your user name? Why comment at all then and just thank him personally?

Dumbo above said it was political, so he added his two cents letting you all know he knows that this isn't his first time donating to a school. And you can’t comprehend cause that’s his name… and he isn’t hiding that its actually him commenting. He just doesn’t want any imposters using his name and pretending to be him that’s all.

Rajah is a true man of the soil. You can take him out of JVD but you can’t take JVD out of him. I know that your contribution is greatly appreciated. Continue to brighten the corner where you are.
