LONDON, UK - The funeral of Queen Elizabeth II will take place at 11:00BST (UK time) on Monday, September 19, 2022, at Westminster Abbey, with details of the service and events having been released by Buckingham Palace.

Members of the public will be able to pay their first respects as the Queen's coffin is taken to St Giles Cathedral in Edinburgh on Monday, September 12, 2022, and the Palace of Westminster in London on Wednesday, September 14, 2022.

Coffin currently @ Balmoral Castle UK

Sky News reports that the Queen's coffin, which is currently in the ballroom at Balmoral, UK, will then be carried by six gamekeepers from the Balmoral Estate tomorrow, Sunday, September 11, 2022, at 10 am.

It will be driven by hearse to the Palace of Holyroodhouse, a journey expected to last some six hours, where the coffin will rest in the Throne Room to allow staff at the palace to pay their respects.

The coffin will rest in the cathedral, and members of the public can pay their respects. That evening, at 7.20pm, the King and other members of the Royal Family will mount a vigil, then on Tuesday September 13, 2022, at 5 pm, a hearse will take the coffin to Edinburgh airport arriving at 6pm. The Princess Royal will fly with the coffin for the 55-minute flight to RAF Northolt.

Guards of honour will salute the departure from Scotland and the arrival in England.

Queen to lie in State for 4 days

Ahead of the burial, the Queen will lie in state in Westminster Hall for four full days before her funeral on Monday 19 September, allowing members of the public to pay their respects.

The Queen's state funeral will take place at Westminster Abbey at 11:00BST on Monday, September 19, 2022, with the day declared a Bank Holiday across the UK.

BBC reports that the Abbey is the historic church where Britain's kings and queens are crowned, including the Queen's coronation in 1953, and where she had married Prince Philip in 1947.

Heads of States will attend funeral

Heads of state from across the world will be flying in to join members of the Royal Family to remember the life and service of the Queen alongside Senior UK politicians and former prime ministers.

The King and senior members of the Royal Family are expected to join the procession after the coffin moves to Quadrangle in Windsor Castle before entering the St George's Chapel for a committal service.

The Queen's coffin will then be lowered into the Royal Vault before being interred in the King George VI memorial chapel, located inside St George's Chapel.

Probably not since she didn’t die naturally. She probably got one of the vaccines meant for the peasants. So sad she had to be treated like us.

South Africans have expressed mixed feelings about the passing of Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II. While some are saddened by her loss, others are not moved or indifferent about her death.

The Queen died on Thursday at the age of 96 at Balmoral in Scotland.

The Land Party and Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) have criticised the monarch’s role in Africa and in South Africa, in particular. EFF on Thursday issued a statement saying the party was not among those mourning the British royal.

The party used her passing to highlight what it said was her contribution to a tragic period in South Africa and Africa’s history. The EFF said in 1795 Britain, under the leadership of the royal family, took control of the territory from Batavian control and assumed permanent control of the territory in 1806. That territory later became known as SA.

The EFF in a statement says that it cannot mourn the death of the world’s oldest head of state. Party Spokesperson, Sinawo Thambo says, “She’s a representative of a crown which was built on the back of slaves, which was built on the blood of people, built on colonisation and it would be historically dishonest for us to mourn a person whose history is of colonising Zambia, SA, Sudan…The crown she represents is one of blood but I think one point we must make and dismiss is that Elizabeth didn’t grant independence to African nations and this is the impression other people are trying to give. Independence was fought for and she resisted that so if there is a breakfast table in hell, we are sure Elizabeth is on it.”

Meanwhile, the Land Party has also released a statement, saying it is “Unhappy that Queen Elizabeth II died without returning all South African stolen properties.”

“She died without reparation of our forefathers’ skulls, body parts and paying reparation to native people of South Africa, particularly the African people.”

She was the Head of the Reptilian Galactic Federation here on this Planet. There will be a war in the heavens for this position, she has to go through all the Stations and Portals before the final lay to rest. This Planet will change forever. We may even see more of the Reptilians activities in the months and time to come. Be ready people , Good over Evil.

I understand every word you have written, bright soul Theron. And I agree with most of them. But she was not "human jus like all ah we". Many of her people believed (some still do) that we are different, in an inferior way. Yes it is true we are are different, but not in the way that they believe. She will learn that on the other side, but I think she already knew.

It is good and pleasant to see that you have a forgiving heart and have asked Jah to bless her anyway. This proves your bright nature.

It must have been very difficult for a 21year old woman thrust into a position of prestige and power to be able manage. The royal family dictates how the royals must behave and even if they dont agree with what is before them.... they have to decide wither to be an outcaste like Harry or continue the tradition of the crown. Let us not judge the Queen but lets put the pressure on those to.come. The world has changed since the 50's... Praying the King will break the tradition and move the Monarchy into an enlightened movement.
