ESTATE BOVONI, St Thomas, USVI- Moments ago, Friday, May 1, 2026, Pure Speight showed his class to win the Governor’s Cup, the feature clash of the Carnival Races at Clinton E. Phipps Sr Racetrack on St Thomas, US Virgin Islands.

Ridden by Kerwin John, Pure Speight claimed victory in the 1-mile, 70-yard race for a purse of $30, 000.

Second was Ice Road, while third was Tortola horse Laser Sharp of Top Priority Racing Stables.

Anegada horse Unsociable of Francis Racing Stables was fourth. Fifth was Emmeth, while sixth was the debut horse Feel the Magic.
